Attorney Paz has practiced criminal defense exclusively for her entire career. She interned at the Public Defender's office throughout law school, which solidified her passion for this area of the law. Brittany worked as an Associate Attorney with Attorney Pattis' firm for 5 years following her admission to the bar before branching out to start her own solo practice. During that time, she successfully resolved cases for hundreds of clients, handling everything from motor vehicle infractions to serious felony trials. She has also written and argued more than a dozen appeals before the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Brittany recently merged her successful solo practice with Attorney Pattis' firm to form Pattis & Paz LLC in a coming home of sorts that allows her to bring her experience and fierce determination to a broader range of clients throughout the state of Connecticut.

As evidenced by her selection to Rising Stars, Super Lawyers and the National Trial Lawyer's Top 40 Under 40, Brittany is a top-rated attorney recognized by her peers in the criminal defense bar for her outstanding advocacy, knowledge of the law and commitment to the legal profession. Many of Brittany's clients come through referrals from other clients, which is a testament to her dedication, work ethic and zealous and effective representation.
